I had my first peg leg this afternoon (OTT). It was good, but not my favorite. By the looks of it, it looked like a shorter version of the full sail (one of my favorite smokes). The PL seems to be a completely different blend after smoking it. It wasn't bad, I just had my hopes really high because it looked like a little full sail. Perhaps after a long nap they'll knock my socks off.

I think you may have smoked a dud, cause the Peg Leg is easily in my Bucanero top-three. If you have more, let em rest another few months....and drop me a line for an aged one: incredible!

I love mine. Very consistent too, unlike my Full Sails.

Don't get my wrong folks "It was good", but I've grown to expect having a fresh pair of underwear handy after the Full Sail, the Salsa, the Classico Maddie. I'm sure it will be better in a few months. I got a box. The rest are down for the long nap...

I usually give my boxes at least 2 weeks to acclimate, just to be sure. I've had some wet ones OTT from here. Of course a much better alternative to dry.

I'm with you Robby. The Pegleg was the first Buc I smoked. It's just okay. I like all the other lines better. IMO the Pegleg tastes nothing like the Full Sail. I smoked a Pegleg last week. I still feel the same way about 'em. I could smoke nothin' but Full Sails and be happy. For awhile at least! Arggghhhh!
