hensed and I have started a little game, and this is the first of.......

Here we have the very first game of charades!! Here's what I got (pics to follow soon)

Country of Origin: Honduras

Manufacurer: One Word

Proper Name: Two words

Format size: Two words

Hint: More precious than gold. This regal cigar carries the trappings of nobility and expects obedience from others.

I will give a review and a guess, and you fellas are wellcome to post your opinions/guesses, hensed will wait to reveal the answer.

The cigar was 5 1/2 inches long, the ring gauge was 50-52. It had a light wrapper, rought to the touch but yet smooth, it had one vein, small, going the length of the cigar. The cigar smelled earthy, not quite as a barn, but a slight earthy smell. I toasted the foot slowly as to try to take in all the smell.

As I began to smoke it the cigar was a bit metally, for about 3-4 puffs, it started out woody and sorta nutty. 1/4 way through it started to burn irregular, I corrected it by torching it some more. The ash was slightly grey and white, compacted, thick white smoke.

The cigar kept its woody tones and the burn again became irregular, the ash got slightly greyer, but this could have been because the e-torching!

1/2 way through the flavor picked up a bit, became nuttier, with a slight toothy feeling on my pallete. Again irregular burn, this was getting to me, making the cigar less enjoyable.

The final part of the cigar had a bit of pepper/spicy taste to it, and the matalic flavor came back.

Overall the cigar was very flavorfull, but was smooth thriugh out. I didn't quit enjoy it because of the burn problems, and the metal flavor, that was probably caused by the re-torching. I think the bad burn might have been because it had little or no time to properlly rest in my humi. I torched this bad boy the night I got it in the mail, so it was in my humi for 7 hours.

Now for the guessing.....

I am not a verry big fan of Honduran cigars, so I am sorta clueless. The cluess tend to push me in the direction thatthis cigar had a name of some sort of royality, or something. However being made in Honduras.....

I would have to gues this a Gurkha Regent??? crap I'm clueless... stumpped!!

Damn you hensed!! LOL

A Gurkha Regent. Come on coma those are box pressed. I'm so disappointed!

To bad about the burn because it really isn't a bad cigar.

I'm gonna let this sit for a day or so before I give more clues.

I was only joking when I said it was a Gurkha, I was so puzzled by the cigar......

WTG Jay!!

I never had a Zino before, so this made it real hard for me, excellent choice Dave, I wish I could have let it sit for a bit longer, I am sure it would have been more enjoyable. From now on I will let it sit in the humi for atleast 2 days before I play!!!

Be on the lookout for #2!!!!!!

That is a good idea to let them sit. Why don't we modify our review date to me closer to the 15 of the month. Sorry you had such problems with it. I enjoyed that cigar several times but it isn't something I would stock on a regular basis due to the price.

I'm looking forward to your contribution to this game. Were the hints alright?

It was more luck than skill in the guessing. I happened to send David one of these recently.
