Any suggestions on good software for pics. I have pics I want to post but can't get them small enough for c-bid to accept. Unless I post them in the size of a stamp!
Or is there something else I don't know?

I use Paint Shop Pro. It does everything I need it to do. Some people use Photoshop. Photoshop is too $$$ in my opinion. I'd rather spend the extra cash on smokes.

If you save your images as a JPEG, there is usually an option to compress the photo when saving it. This option can be found in most graphics software programs. Compressing the image can result in a minor loss of image quality, but nothing that you will notice when viewing the photo on the computer. The % reduction in file size far exceeds any loss in picture quality.

One good and rather cheap program I'd really recommend is ACDSEE. It provides a slide show option and you can modify pictures in many ways (including size and compression). Often you can get it from one of the large online stores for real cheap. I bought the last year's model and it was about 1/3 of the price as the current version, under $20 if I remember correctly.
It's not as inclusive as Photoshop, which I'd also recommend, but it's FAR cheaper.

I likes Paint Shop Pro: cheaper than Photoshop, and more powerful than ACDSee. The older versions don't time-out.

I was messing around and stumbled into Microsoft Paint and found I can manipulate all my pics through it.. and it's so easy even I can do it!

I use several different photo software packages but this is the easiest to use for quick resizing.

Gimp can do almost everything photoshop can do and its free.
