I was a season ticket holder back in the days of the Thunderdome and Enrico Ciccone!! Fans were clapping for icing and offside. The marketing campaign featured fighting and seemed to be directed at the monster truck demographic instead of selling the game of hockey. They've come a long way baby!

worked many games at the THUNDERDOME when I worked for the city of St Pete. Was a great time and the first years of the lightning. BEing from detroit was a Redwings fan growing up but loved the hockey when it came to FLA. Since moving back to detroit i still follow the TB team (Dad still lives in FLA) and we talk about wings and lightning hockey thru out the season. Glad they made it big! and the owner owns the pistons here too! so its all good. Like the sister team to us transplants here.

I'm loving every minute of this!

I'm a Red Wing fan but moved back to Florida in 2000. Season ticket holder every year...except wouldn't ya know it...this year! Really wanted to see Detroit and Tampa in this, but Calgary proved that they belong.

Was able to attend both of the home games in the Budweiser and AG Edwards suites. Won't be able to go to tonights games, but I'll be watching from my own "suite"! I missed out on having my pic taken with the Lord Stanley's cup, but if they win it...I will. My wife's palley-walley with a couple of Bolt players wives.

Ok, I just can't stay out of a Hockey discussion - Go BOLTS!!!! Tonight's game promises to be a REAL good one - especially if Tampa gets the lead!!!

I don't understand why people are complaining about this series - this is one of the best finals I've seen in a while! Huge, painful, and at times,cheap (Niemenen) hits, flying fast skating, amazing puck handling, great goaltending - these two teams are so much fun to watch! And it's gettin' pretty scrappy now too! It took me a while to recover from my Stars big disappointment, but I think this one is going 7 exciting games! By the way, if anyone knows Lecavelier or St. Louis - give them my number, I'd turn gay for either one of them....

Buckwheat is right. Wayne did the same thing when Canada won Olympic Gold. As a side note, the ice manager for Tampa Bay is the same guy who put a Canadian Loonie under center ice at that Olympic games. I wonder if he did the same thing for this series.
