I can personally think of a dozen reasons to vote for Bush, not every single one of them being he's a darn sight better than Kerry, but then I'd just be blasted by the "objective, balanced left" and I have decided that a battle of wits is pointless against unarmed opponents.

Lmao CWFoster!! Good remark at the end. But seriously, you think people (especially around here) are politically biased? I can't imagine...

By the way, I'm with CWFoster here. There are numerous reasons I will (proudly) vote for Bush again. I'll refrain from posting any though, I'm not in the mood in hearing why they're all wrong.

Sorry Rick, but each to their own.

I think Rick must think its been too quiet out here... not enough political controversy on Cbid in the past few days.

I generally don't start threads like this but it would be interesting if someone was willing to respond to the challenge and have 3 reasons that could be factually substantiated. Oh and yes you can sure bet I'd enjoy challinging. Perhaps peace and quiet is better for the next couple of weeks whild Bush continues to dig his own hole. For now... I think a good Friday night Fuente is in order

Hey JonR,
Thanks for making me a litle more comfortable, in voting for Kerry, the lesser of two evils. This thread was making me feel like a putz, cause the only reasons, I could think of to vote for Kerry, was he wasn't Bush.
Thanks Brother.

Yo Rick:..."you are your source. your personal reasons are your source". john botox kerry are my three main personal reasons for voting for OUR BELOVED PRESIDENT the HONORABLE GEORGE W. BUSH. I guess only your persnal reasons are good enough, huh. OBTW why didn't you ask for personal reasons to vote for kerry, afraid there aren't any or just continuing your whining Bush bashing. JonR

Yo Homebrew: Glad I could help. Believe me when I tell you that I will not think any less of you for voting for kerry after all he is all you liberals could come up with. OBTW I heard kerry was awarded another purple heart for all those botox injections, can you confirm that for me. JonR

Ahhhhh, master Rick, you asked for ONLY 3 reasons?!

1.Architect behind $600 refund of my own money;
2.Apologizes very well and often;
3.Gave us a larger pool of illegals to choose from for our cheap labor (I've hired one myself- thanks);
4.Buttressed & enlarged the Ponzi scheme so that well-to-do retirees can continue to enjoy their social security checks and better prescription benefits;
5.Sent me and my father (retired Navy captain) autograph pictures thanking us for past $$$ support--my dad ripped his up;
6.Enforced 2 INEPT mandatory sources (GSA & NIB) for most Government small purchases, which is going to cost taxpayers MORE;
7.Protects pharmaceutical companies against "unwarranted" lawsuits when they poison our babies with inoculations laden with mercury;
8.Giving trial lawyers a free ride by not pushing tort reform;
9.Good at initially killing muslim terrorists abroad--just doen't know what to do next;
10.Agonizingly charming when he tries to form cogent thoughts--amazing for a man with degree$$$ from Harvard and Yale.

Hope this helps, Master Rick.

Now, is there anyone that you want your mindless denizens of the Idiotworld to attack next before we scurry back to our caves?
Fart once for CW and twice for JonR. Three times & we'll just assume that you had broccoli.

BTW, JonR, there's no way to confirm the 2nd batch of botox injections--his ass cheeks are covered.

yes your personal reasons are your source, but i don't believe you understand the premise. you gave a reason not to vote for kerry 3 times, because of his name apparently.

let me give you an example. let's assume you drive a ford. if i asked you why that particular brand and you said chevy, chevy, chevy, i still wouldn't know why you you drive a ford.

incidently, i asked about why a person would vote for bush, because, i thought i might get some positive answers. if i had wanted input about kerry or truman, i would have asked about them.

so far no one has mentioned any reason, which i find strange, considering this board appears to have many bush supporters.

1. First and foremost, 9/11 and the war against terror and countries that sponsor, support, and harbor terrorists. John F'ing Kerry is going to fly around the world apologizing to the nations we offended with our unilateral approach to freeing Iraq. These same nations who clearly were "bought off" with oil contracts and the oil for food program... This includes but certainly is not limited to top UN officials who decried our actions...

2. The economy. After Bush inherited the Clinton Gore recession, 9/11, stock market scandals, etc... He took decisive actions and implemented "across the board" tax cuts. I know that chaps the a$$es of many libs on this board, oh you're just giving money to the rich. NEWSFLASH!
2.1 None of your a$$s was ever employed by anyone poor.
2.2 The "rich" pay almost all of the taxes in this country.
2.3 The tax cuts have stimulated the economy like it or not. All indicators are on the hard upswing so it's working.
2.4 If John F'ing Kerry gets in office, he will repeal the cuts and give even more to those who currently don't pay taxes and he will take more people off of the Federal tax role which will increase his constituents. The illusion of his largess is redistribution, rob from the rich, give to the middle class until there are no rich no more. That's not what this country was founded on. It was founded on freedom and yes, that means freedom to make, save, and invest YOUR OWN F'ING MONEY!

3. If Bush gets his second term, he won't be concerned about being re-elected. This idea seems to dominate what would otherwise be rational decision making at times. Perhaps we'll see a more fiscally conservative side of our president in his second term because he won't have to worry about the left and Peter F’ing Jennings lining up to gang bang him on ABC world news tonight at the end of each day.

Me too! I see that the liberal left has chosen to take my name in vain in spite of the restraint I've shown.OK here goes...
1)Respect- after eight years of Clinton and his disdain for those stupid enough to make the commitment HE avoided, I see George W. Bush board Marine 1 and then debark, because he forgot to return the salute of a marine he WASN"T REQUIRED TO RETURN THE SALUTE OF! Just because he thinks the young mans commitment rates it!
2)Commitment- He said within days of 9/11, that this was going to be a long haul. He said that we might not see the end of it, but our children or grandchildren might. In spite of the left constantly carping about exit strategy, and cost, and the inconvenience at the airport, he is staying the course!
3)Courage- He hasn't sold out what he beleives to be the right thing to do, just because John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, and RICKAMAVEN think he's wrong (as if he could POSSIBLY do something they would give him any respect for!)

There's your three reasons! Now can YOU give me one reason to vote for Kerry besides the fact that he's not Bush?
