Sorry to hear about the Dark Shark - I just "won" a few. I tried the Ancla & Cazador torpedo and it was painful. The Flor del Todo is rough, too. At least they were cheap and may get better with age.

I like the Don Lino Colorado cigars, but all other "Don" cigars are bad, and I think any TAMBORIL product is a cigar to avoid. Charlie

Avoid any cigar from Puerto Rico ... BTW cruiser, Rothschild is a size, not a 'big brand name' ... LOL!

Fuego Del Rey, just worthless. Give away to strangers is what I did with them.

actually I use to really enjoy the Don Juan Churchill, a very nice toasty flavor. But they don't taste as nice as they use to, pretty bland now, so I won't buy anymore after this box.

I agree with GD on the Puros Indios...I wouldn't say they're the worst I've had, but IMHO they're bland and a waste of smoking time

Rothschild is a size, usually 4.5 x 50, but as Robusto that varies from 4.5 over 5 (most common) to 5.5 x 50, Rothschilds can also be 5 x 50. Sizes can be very confusing. ON PUROS INDIOS, I can respect that PI won't apply to everyones palette, but to call it "bland"!!??? I love PI Rothschild and Especiales #4, they certainly has (good) taste, so bland???

There are moments, during the enjoyment of a Puros Indios Toro Especial, that I wonder why they make any other cigars in the world. They are complex, well made, and heavenly. To dislike them is personal preference. To call them "bland" is simply wrong. To answer the question at hand, I gotta go with Chucky on the West Coast: Tamboril = crap.

Cruiser, I am not trying to be a wiseass, but you can buy a book on cigars and it will explain different sizes, ring and length and how they are constructed. There are variations on Rothchilds per different manufacturers, and all other names of cigars. The Cigar Book by Bati and Chase is pretty good and it will help you to understand the size and structure. Charlie :):):)

Sorry....They're BLAND to me...Not complex in any way...plain tasting...I'd rather smoke a Don anything than a P.I....Just my $0.02

Yeah, Puros Indios are bland. And a Lamborghini is sluggish; the Rolling Stones are a one-dimensional band; San Francisco is only slightly hilly; a habanero pepper has a bit of spice; Jesse Jackson is a fair and just man who simply wants people to earn their lot in life.
