Just received my first 5 pack of these in the Corona size. Draw was tight. Flavor good, but not enough smoke due to poor draw. Also, the cigars smelled slightly aromatic, like a Lars. Is that normal, or did Gonz and company comingle my shipment? The other packs received in the same shipping box did not smell even slightly.

Must have been a comingle - there is nothing aromatic about Cupido. It is one of my favorite smokes, but you're correct, the draw on the little box-pressed coronas can be a little tight from time to time. Some mellowing in the 'dor for a bit may help...

mingled. I agree, ti's a great smoke. if you get your hands on a maduro or a torpito you'll be hooked. One of the best Nicaraguan cigars around

I think trig is correct. None of the Cupido's I've had are aromatic. The toro negro is now my favorite maduro. I just "won" a five pack of the torpedo's, churchill's and the box pressed robusto's. The robusto was very tasty - and by the way gonz one of them had the wrapper torn and the foot mashed. I've yet to try the other two sizes. Also the Torpito is very good. I had one in my mouth playing catch with my kids and the ash never fell off - NEVER! A 4" ASH ON A 4.5" CIGAR! Cupido has become one of my favorites.
