eleltea got me thinking about my use of the nickname little w, and you put pressue on me to rethink my use of negative phrases, whether i think they are true or not.

i have run my use of the words imbecile and little w through every filter in my brain to prove to myself those expressions are not in the same catagory as fat moore or hitlery, and a number of other phrases used by other posters.

i have been unsuccessful in convincing myself that my phrases are different and enlightened.

i have become what i have mocked. i am embarrased for myself, and the excuse that since i am so passionate about what i believe, i am allowed privileges i don't allow others, doesn't hold water.

i am flat out wrong.

while i may have paved the way for quiter guys, the guys that normally would stay our of the fray of the politics on this board, that does not excuse my excesses.

i have not changed my passion to rid the country of george w bush, but i know if i continue to voice my opinions, i will continue using nasty posts and i don't want to make an ass of myself again.

suffice to say, everyone knows where i stand in regards to george w bush, so repeating it in different forms with different information, serves no useful purpose.

i am not leaving the boards, because i enjoy the repartee, but i will stay with other topics that i am
less volitale about.

i still look forward to george w bush losing the next election, but as one of the characters on monty python has said,

JonR sits in front of his computer after reading Ricks post, his radio tuned to KYW is announcing the weather for Philadelphia...high today 29 degrees, winds at 25 mph with gusts up 40 mph, and snow starting after 8:00 am with an expected accumulation of 4-6 feet.

Take heart in the fact that Dubya will probably lose whether you bushbash or not. Many of us paleo-conservatives are jumping ship. My family and most of my self-employed friends view dubya as an unmitigated disaster on many fronts. These are core Republicans.

If Kerry chooses the right running mate- a telegenic, convincing liar- the masses will come a'flocking. He already has the "illegal" and "Sonny" vote in the bag.

Educated or not it seems to be human nature to resort to name calling at some point. This does not make it right, but it is not wrong either. JMHO

I don't get mad when people Bush bash. I just take heart in knowing those that do are lashing out because they may not know Bush is the better than Kerry in leading this country.

If one looks at ALL the facts they will realize Kerry is incompetent. That is not name calling it is merely pointing out he does not have the necessary skills to be a leader.

It is a sad statement on this country that the elite media has an agenda of getting rid of Bush and they refuse to show the truth on TV or in print and millions of people believe everything they are fed.

I remember when people use to use their own minds to make intelligent decisions based on fact, not propaganda. This is becoming the downfall of the greatest county in the world.

It is all public realations(propaganda), catch phrases don't match.

ANSWER: Good to know that in your heart, you know he's right...Ignorance is bliss. From my practical experience, I KNOW that he's affected me and many other businessmen adversely. No theories here, nor repetition by rote... He has catered to many corporate interests and made the lives of small businesses WORSE. Unless you have a business--especially one that deals with the Federal Government or its subcontractors, you WON'T get it. So continue to repeat your mantra.

ANSWER:Well, so is Bush. He's proven it. He thinks that we're as rich as he is, and can pay for his generous programs & expensive campaigns. Try closing the borders, then destroy the terrorists but don't rebuild their host countries. The $$$ for our schools, roads, etc. is going into ugrateful muslim countries. Is it worth losing several boys a day for those creeps?

ANSWER:The fact is that you've made up your mind without having all of the facts. And yes, the downfall of this country will come if we continue to abandon our borders and bankrupt ourselves with never-ending military/rebuilding ventures.
