It's a real place. Pronounced poo-ket. The actual place where all the parties are is Patong beach.

Patong has been a party place since well before I was there over 25 years ago. Some rude memories of that place....fond but rude :>)

How about Pattiya Beach? All vices are catered to lavishly and cheaply in a beautiful tropical setting.

Been there twice too THL. Pattaya beach... Patong beach isn't much different. It's all in what you want to do. Tours and diving... community relations projects... or drinking and screwing.
