I was under the impression that Tabacalera Torano discontinued the Xquisto line last year. It's really an odd duck. Either you like this cigar or phew! The Indonesian wrapper with all Nicaraguan filler is rather peculiar. For those not familiar with Indonesian wrappers, many, but not all, are odorific and will live your hands quite smelly. Unless I can scrub my hands immediately after smoking some cigars with these wrappers, I forgo the pleasure. I like Torano products, but my experience with them, of late, is that they tend to arrive in need of humidification, irrespective of who I buy them from. I'm bidding because the packaging on these units is great for gifts. Steve

for what's it's worth, Carlos Torano received the highest rate in this month's smoke magazine. I quite enjoy these cigars though I haven't tried Xquisito. I won a box of the regular line on the blowouts close to two years ago (red band), and I still am enjoying them, one of the most pleasant smokes I ever had.

Indonesian wrappers make you hands smell funny? Is that all Indonesian wrappers or just this one. How do you store your indonesian wrapped cigars? When you smoke an Indonesian wrapped cigar, are you so worried about it that you try to hide your hands someplace in particular? Where is this particular place? I love them and they have never made my hands smell funny.

The cigars rated in the current issue of Smoke are not those in the Xquisto line. I also enjoy many of Charlie Torano's products, but I've had problems with them arriving dry. Steve

Unklebill: It's great to have an uncle again. The youngest and still living of my aunts is 94; no living uncles till you surfaced. I rarely buy Indonesian wrappers and, if I do, they are stored with cello on, in a separate cooler, away from my other cigars. You'll have to explain the questions about placing my hands. I have no idea whether this is a legitimate question or an attempt at humor. Steve

Excactly Aberdeen, the red band Toranos are very pleasent smokes. Have only had one (torpedo shape) which I, unfortunately, happened to clip with a waaay to small. After struggling through 1/3 of it, I clipped again and ..... whoooaah........ it became great. CB!!!!!! Get the red Toranos up for grabs - NOW!!! LOL!
