What I was saying that Liberals would love to quote and post cut and paste from Moveon.org and call it middle of the road, but then when something from an unbiased site is used, they scream foul! It is all in the make up of the blind faith that they put in JfK and his converted views to the moderate middle ground, which will last for about two weeks and then the infamous flip flop will apply.

How do you know bias when you don't ever read or listen to it. You assume that nothing you read or hear (non-liberally slanted media) is non-biased I presume? Even a 3 page term paper usually has to have at least 10 references in the Bibliography (3 pages of Bibliography is normal for Doctoral level work of the same length)....this shows that the author is "well-read" and did his/her research.

The wisest of men read not what pleases their mind, but whatever is available...this builds the mind. One can only make wise decisions and build meaningful ideas about any subject when they are well versed on both sides of the story, and look at them without prejudice, for information.

By not "subscribing (or at least opening your mind to a bit of it)" to "liberally slanted media" you are only allowing yourself to build every decision you ever have made or ever will make based upon the information given from "one side." This is pure and simple followership and conformity.

The real quest for truth is in listening to both sides of the story, and weighing their value for correct theory and factual basis. This is what finally allows us as children to realize that Santa Clause is a myth, rather than growing up believing what our parents tell us.

To win a war, one must read the texts of the opposing Generals. Read them without prejudice, then build your own thoughts that will enable you to overpower theirs.

By the way, I vote for the best candidate, I claim no party. I believe in God (whoever she is), but read the writings of those that believe in other Gods. To quote that horrible television show...."The truth is out there!" Crawl out of your self imposed shell, and go look for it. Maybe you are right after all.....just make sure you really are.

me too btw. I've lived long enough to know when I'm being schmoozed however, so I don't necessarily need a footnote or a bibliography to wade through bullsh*t. On the other hand, substantiated facts are always welcome.
