You Ever Saw ?

For me it would be

YES in 1976
at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia

scorpions...

Aerosmith, Wing's Stadium, 1978.

Genesis, Wing's Stadium, 1978.

Both memorable for me. Goodness I long for the concerts of old. And mourn the fact that these ARE concerts of old. Seem like yesterday to me.

Eagles in 76 or 77 at Kemper Arena in KCMO.

Saw the reunion concert of Return To Forever, featuring Al Dimeola on guitar, Chick Corea on keyboards, Stanley Clarke on bass, and Lenny White on drums, in the early 80's. Absolutely the most incredible display of technical musicianship I have ever seen in my life. Their first song--not their first set, their first *song*--was 45 minutes. The entire audience was on their feet the whole time.

Oops, the Boingo show was '88.

I should point out that they were probably better up close and personal at our Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. That was probably around '90 or so.

I was at the Eagles concert in Kemper Arena, Kansas City and it believe it was '76...great concert! My favorite of all time would be Tina Turner concert at the Greeks in Hollywood!

Saw Stevie Ray Vaughn in Costa Mesa, CA at the CM Ampitheater! He was great!

Stevie was awsome. The bands cleared the stage and we got 45 minutes of 2 brothers playing from their hearts and souls. They even played the same guitar at the same time! It was something to see a man and his guitar bring a crowd to tears and then bring them back to ecstasy.
