just finished taking cipro, and it's wicked stuff. left me with zero energy, and that's the least of the side effects. but the situation is that i'm COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY BOOOOOOOORED! i'm tired of sleeping 20 hours a day from this crap, and when i'm awake seems like all i do is wait for the snoozlies to hit me again so i can go back to bed. BORED we're talking. lol

so... what do you do when you're flat-out bored to pieces?

it's funny -- took me like a week to figure out that i was bored. i seriously haven't felt bored like this in yeeeeears and years. thought i was depressed, but nope -- it's pure old-fashioned boredom. lol

let's see... but to keep with the listing of things theme... painting, drawing, writing, craft junk. used to play my guitar, but i could only really play "house of the rising sun." lol

I find a book full of short stories or the latest cigar catalog and sit on the porch and have a smoke. I also like to put on some mellow music and enjoy the fact that I have nothing to do.

I know how you feel bro! My meds have me in a trance. At first it was really cool to be ride the legal narcotic high, but now I can't drive, go anywhere, can't even smoke for little while longer.

I am BORED OUTTA MY MIND!!! I thought it would be cool to st around the house all day and do nothing. Nope!!!

Hell. I think I'm gonna pop some more meds and pass out high as a kite!

I work too many hours every week, so I can only imagine what it would be like to be bored...

However , my heart goes out to you (Cavallo) and Echo.
If you can't sit around naked smoking on the veranda, have you thought about being dropped off somewhere (library, mall, lake for fishing, etc,) for a few hours? How about visiting a friend? Maybe pick up a model kit & build something or begin a collection (stamps, coins, soiled panties--skip that...).

There may even be volunteer work or jobs that are home-based w/flex time which don't require obscenities or a black hood...LOL! Call county services.

watch ohpra getting naked while naked and glue the cigar bands on yourself with superglue. When the thrill is over , its gonna take you another 3 days of removing the bands so you wont be bored for at least 4 days 🙂

There is always something that needs to be done around the house. I don't have to look too hard to find a project to keep me busy. I have a small shed in the back yard where I keep my tools, miscellaneous junk, and a small assortnment of wood. TV, VCR, and a stereo receiver provide additional entertainment. The great thing is, I can smoke all I want while I'm out there.

I'd welcome some boredom. With 3 kids and a house it just don't happen. If I was bored I'd read or go fishing.

I think the last time I was bored was about age 14. Been on that Cipro stuff for a prostate infection. Cure is darned near worse than the problem.

got a trip to the library planned for tomorrow, and i have materials for one last cigar band project for a botl, so i'll spend today working on that, too.

i guess the bulk of it is the total lack of energy that's getting me down now; as i said, it's been years since i've been bored. right now it's just the lack of energy to do the things that normally would keep me occupied.

Real bad side effects. I guess since they use Cipro to cure anthrax, it has to be one bad dude. The effects do go away, but it sure ruined my vacation with my family at Gatlinburg. I was one miserable puppy that week. I figure the month I was on Cipro I could have gone swimming in a cesspool and not caught anything.

Thanks for the laugh and the serious note. I just keep fallinf asleep in the middle of stuff. The meds make me high as kite so any project I start would end up looking like an ugly a**ed modern art masterpiece!
