This ever happen to any of you guys? I was smokin' a Indian Tabac Arrow(H2000 wrapper) that I bought by the bundle at CB approx. a year ago. About 2/3 of the way through, I suddenly noticed a real nasty taste on my lips. In looking at the cut end of the cigar, I noticed a dark brown gel oozing out. Had the nicotine liquidized? It was ugly! Of course, not wanting to waste 1/3 of a cigar, I took a deeper cut to it! Ever happen to you? With what brand(s)? Does this mean I'm storing my 'gars correctly? Or not?

That dark brown gel is very rare, and is referred to by the cigar rollers as "umbatromogombo", which of course is Spanish for "that which causes deformities". This stuff is normally removed when the tobacco is harvested, or if it gets missed, the rollers are supposed to get rid of it and burn it immediately. They say it has a delayed reaction to anyone that smokes it, causing swelling, blisters, slurred speech, hair loss, blindness, impotence, and, in extreme cases, growth of additional extremities. You should right away send all those bad cigars to me, @ ronulus96@***.com

rheaverton, you had me going for a while there! Great response, I have had it happen once on a LaAuroa Robusto and I guess that explains the extra sexual drive that I have developed! Charlie

had it happen on the burn end of a cigar. It looked like burnt sugar and smelled like my feet. Did you say it caused foot odor too?
