Wonder where Alto Grande is in Puerto Rico?
I can remember sitting under the waterfall with my granfather in El Yunque, Puerto Rico, and smelling the coffee aroma wafting in the air. It was like Paradise for me.

Rick --- Alto Grande from Puerto Rico is overrated.

I've been there, and I brought some back with me, but I have been able to get 'green' beans (which I roast to my liking) of the Puerto Rican Yauco Select AA ... and I have found it far superior.

I roast my own coffee and like several different beans, but my wife prefers Costa Rican Tres Rios.

Wife and I hardly drink anything but Killer Beans. I'll grab a Starbucks if I'm on the road, but even then it's rare.

I've met Tom and Maria ... to of the nicest people you would ever want to know, and he is one of the most dedicated 'cuppers' I've ever seen. If at the coffee aucton, it doesn't suit him, or a particualr bean isn't as good as the last hes had ... he won't bid on it.

Yes, I have purchased a lot of beans and several roasters from Sweetmarias and was always quite happy with my purchases. I buy from U-Roast-Em simply because I know their buyer.
