I think that this video has taken his golden speaking moments and his worst speaking moments and compared them. Anyone would look as bad. I think that he's really gotten much better at speaking, when compared to the 2000 campaign. Although I'm no doctor and could not tell you if someone has dementia or not from just listening to his speeches. To be honest, I just think that w didn't take the first debate preperation very seriously and was extremely ill prepared. But, like I said, I'm no doctor and so are we.

the differenc is too strinking. my personal take is more in the direction of some illness having taken hold. i don't mean that as a nasty remark. i mean that as sympathy.

A video contrived to get you to come to their conclusion. A hit piece. Just like the one Sinclair Broadcasting is about to release is a hit piece on Kerry.

Why...why..yes I did. Try putting the shoe on the other foot. If this was pointing out some perceived Kerry flaw you would see that it is a hit piece. But this piece happens to dovetail with your pre-conceived notions of Bush's instability so you've given it more than it's due.

Yeah, I suppose that some sort of illness is possible. But he has been completely re-vamped as a politician since his days as the Gov. If you take a good speech that he gives now, and take one of the good speeches that is shown in the video, there is a remarkable difference just in his style of delivery, but the message now sounds more folksy, less strident, and I think in a lot of ways more effective.

Whatever the case I'm a real skeptic with this kind of internet stuff anyway.
