I take my cellphone off when I'm in long term storage.

I go both ways here. I turn it on when I want to make or receive calls. I then turn it off when I don't want to make or receive calls, especially when it would bothers others (like in a movie).

I leave mine on 24/7 but I never use it while driving, I have caller ID and return calls when I am parked. My life and anyone elses is tooooooo important to lose over a phone call.

On 24/7. If I miss a call, I can return if I wish.

Only on when I need to make a call. Which is rare. I hate phones.
