I know.....I know.....before anyone says anything> you get what you pay for. I got such a good deal and thought that some aging time would make them a little less bitter. Well.....they are still bitter and have a bite somewhat like an acidic taste. Anyone one else experience this with the line?

Is it the Corona? I haven't had any problems with the torpedo or the robusto. I ran a blind taste test on another board and it got high marks.

You are right. You get what you pay for. I "won" two boxs of Torps and have tried to age one of them for around 6 months. No real success yet. I gifted the other box to our Golf League cigar moochers.

these sell at the hamilton store in the new york new york casino in vegas for ten to fifteen dollars. i've smoked the ones i bought on cbid and for about a buck or so each, i smoke them when i am driving. yes charlie, toby let's me smoke in her car and mine.

A great looking cigar for display but smoking is another story.

Try aging for a month in a spare humidor with a cup of Jack Daniels, or whatever you prefer. Mine are not bad.

Rickamaven, I smoke cigars in my car, not the wife's. Now as to the Hamilton House, you can do whatever you wnat with them they don't improve. Give em to the guy or guys who always smoke a cigar, but never have any with them, Charlie

They are actually a great cigar to give to friends who don't actually smoke cigars. They are mild enough for newbies, and although the cigar leaves an acrid taste in the mouth, the aroma is not too offensive.

that's what i do with the leyendos @ $0.17 each. with the smell of the acid cigars in and on them, the guys that don't smoke cigars often are very happy.
