makes me think of a childhood game in which a blanket was tossed over the head of a person sitting on the floor ... that person was then told that he/she had something on that he/she didn't need to be wearing and to take it off ...

Glasses, shoes, sox, belts, what-have-you, would be taken off one at a time ... each time, the person was told "no, that's not it" and they were made to repeat the chant ... "Ahhh, vahda nah Siam" ...

After enough repetitions, most figured the chant out, but only once did I see someone take the blanket off ...
