Can someone shed some light on this auction?

Someone is using Cigar International's name to sell a 5 pack of CAO Brazil's for $100.00!!!!!!!

Nobody is bidding on it, and he has no past history to go on for his reputation.

Anyone know what's going on here?

I thought is was illegal to sell tobacco on ebay. Hmmmmmmmm. And Brazillias as a super prem. hmmmm. They are good but not that good. If I was CI I would contact ebay on the use of its name and illegal resale.

That is illegal for EBay, and anyone that visits any auction can report the item to EBay. There is a link to report on every auction. Why wait for CI to contact EBay, when any of us as a responsible CBid/CI member can help them out.

I'll go ahead and contact the other auction site and let them know about all of this.

By the way. On this particular auction site, you can sell cigars under the guideline that you are actually selling the cigar box and that the contents inside the box are "collector's items not ment to be used" (yeah right). You HAVE to mention all of that in your item description for it to meet regulation, and this guy in NO way worded his sell that way. He even went way over board and tried to sell a 5 buck cigar for a 400% profit! Moron.

At the same rate I don't think you can buy from one company and attempt to resale for a 400% profit.

I went ahead and reported it to Ebay. This guy is a mornon...a couple of times over.

Reported him at my first post too. His email is probably pepsiman.

I reported him as well. I can't imagine Pepsiman being stupid enough to post a 5 pack of Brazil's for a starting price of $100.

At least no one has bid on them yet. Hopefully, not everyone is stupid and it stays that way.

I noticed that the person is new to E-Bay (less than 30 days). Makes you wonder what "he" is up to.

I wanna meet the person that actually thinks that it would be a good deal.

He doesn't have to be new to ebay, if he is running scams than he can frequently get a new name so that his reputation doesn't follow him.

I just checked that auction and there was a bid on those 5 cigars. Boy, I would love to sell some of my old stash to that guy!! LOL!

I wonder if we should e-mail the bidder, and explain the error of his ways?

OR, maybe it's a bidder working in concert with this crooker seller, trying to "prime the pump" for other bidders?
