in mooning the fans. The coach of the Colts was on tv last night and he said,"The Packer fans line up by a fence outside Lambeau field and moon any team that loses to the Packers as their bus goes by on the way back to their hotel", he said he knows this for a fact because he lost in Lambeau seven times and was mooned seven times, and went on to say it's a Packer tradition. Any Packer fans care to verify this.

Apparently it IS a fact ... being widely reported in the sports news today ...

They aren't mooning.
It's an initiation to get onto the the season ticket list.
How do you think they got their name?

This puts everything into perspective. He wasn't being classless, but was actually being funny. Now armed with this information, I find his actions sly, clever, and hilarious!

Spooky
In the cool of the evening when ev'rything is gettin' kind of groovy,
You call me up and ask I if you want to go and meet and see a movie,
First I say no, I've got some plans for the night,
And then I stop, and say, "All right."
Love is kinda crazy with a spooky little girl like you.

You always keep me guessin', I never seem to know what you are thinkin'.
And if a girl looks at you, it's for sure your little eye will be a-winkin'.
I get confused, I never know where I stand,
And then you smile, and hold my hand.
Love is kinda crazy with a spooky little girl like you.
Spooky!

If you decide someday to stop this little game that you are playin',
I'm gonna tell you all what my heart's been a-dyin' to be sayin'.
Just like a ghost, you've been a-hauntin' my dreams,
But now I know, you're not what you seem.
Love is kinda crazy with a spooky little girl like you.

As I mentioned in the picture post on this subject.

Do any of you know why Randy Moss did what he did towards the fans? He was giving it right back to them, since that is what the Packer Fans do.

Every game when the opposing team bus leaves, there are a group of die hard Packer Fans that wait around and they all B.A. the team bus when it leaves! LOL!!!
It is now a tradition and Randy was only giving it back to them, heheheeeee. Tony Dungy, Indy's coach, thought it was funny what Randy did and doesn't see the problem with it, and said "At least Randy kept his pants on, something the Packer fans don't do".

Last night on the tv news, as Moss was getting into his SUV a reporter asked him how he felt about the $10,000 fine the league awarded him for pretending to moon the packer fans, Moss replied "What's $10,000 to me" and then laughed, he then said, "Maybe next time I'll shake my (bleeped) at them" and laughed again.

You gotta luv that guy.

I couldn't disagree more. If it was tradition to throw snowballs at the leaving bus would it then be ok for a player to throw snowballs at the crowd? I don't think so. I thought it very rude and vulgar of Moss and extrememly inappropriate given that he was on national TV. In my book he should have got a taunting penalty during the game. Celebration dance is one thing. A "F*** You" dance is quite another.

For those of you "against" what Moss did....

-Did Moss actually pull his pants down?

-Moss was fined more for what he did than that big hit in the Jets game. Wasn't that worse?

-Have you EVER mooned someone? Be honest. Was it "vulgar"? I doubt it.

Have you ever mooned someone at work? And I don't mean one guy in the back room where nobody sees. I'm talking about in front of the entire company and its customers while you were working.

BUT, Moss didn't moon anyone. He PRETENDED.

And, by the rationale...

Strippers take off their clothes at work, right?

Moss is an entertainer. The NFL is entertainment. Some people - I repeat: SOME - are entertained by that sort of thing.

You are right Ryan he only pretended so that makes it ok.

Hey try this one: At work today go behind a female co worker and PRETEND to pull your pants down, then PRETEND to pull her's down, then PRETEND to f*** her up the a$$. Make sure not to come in physical contact at any time. When you are standing in front of the judge you tell him, "But judge I didn't do anything. I only pretended to."

wow, plabonte. GREAT argument. TOTALLY makes sense.

calm down a bit.

you should separate your anger towards professional athletes (understandable) from your rationality.

we're not all on equal grounds with regards to where we work and what is acceptable.

Funny, I thought Moss was supposed to be an athlete. When did he get in the entertainment business? Does he have some CDs coming out soon?

Not to many strippers do their thing on national TV now is there.

I'm not angry in the least. Just trying to explain my point in as simple and understanding a manner as I can.
