I was bidding on the retriever pipe also, I looked to make sure you weren't the high biddder, and at the time you weren't, so I put a snipe bid in place, only to see your name as high bidder later on. Oh well, neither of us one, but I bet that would have been a cool pipe.

John, that pipe looked sweet. I haven't had anything going on during the day for the last couple of weeks. The one day that I had a bid on something, I had to go on the road. Forgot to raise my max bid, and missed the pipe. I hoped you got it, but some other clown took it.

Had to go to the taxidermist to pick up a pheasant. Turned out nice. Big bird with 3/4 inch spurs.

Can you post a pic of the bird? I'd love to have a standing mount done but it cost to much. Dad used to do that as well, but I never paid enough attention when he tried to show me.
