Guys-
To stay on the band theme, this band from Southern CA is unbelievable. If you like great guitars and solid writing, this band kicks butt! Had a hit on Alternative radio a few years back "diz-knee-land", kind of a cheezy name, but a cool tune. They are AWESOME live as well. Mostly they stay on the west coast.

Check out dadatheband.com or let me know I'll burn some for you.

I used to be in a band that played alternative music. We did a song by Dada. It wasn't Disney Land but I think it was their second most popular hit. It wasn't a complex song by any stretch of the means. But for some reason it was one of my favorite to play. I think they sang about a car or driving or something. Been too long for me to remember.

Why DADA is a great name for a band.

Continuing AVB's threadjack:

"The Bonzo Dog Dada Band"
became
"The Bonzo Dog DooDah Band"
became
"The Bonzo Dog Band"

But they remained true to the DADA spirit throughout. RIP Vivian Stanshall.

I'm impressed, I wouldn't have bet anyone else knew that. But then I'm the Urban Spaceman. LOL!!

I just remember the song was called Dim.

There is a line that keeps repeating that goes "Can't this car go any faster", or something. Our drummer played the song to slow and I always thought "Can't this song go any faster".

Anyway, neat song.
