As some of you know, my wife has been in Nursing School for the past two years. She graduated in December and has been studying for her NCLEX (Nursing Boards) since then. Well, she took the test this past Friday, and we got the results yesterday.

SHE PASSED!!! My wife has worked her a$$ off and has earned her RN. I am so proud of her.

I celebrated with a Partagas Serie D #4 (My first one ever), and was really impressed. I received this cigar with my "Secret Santa" package that I think came from *ferg*, but I am not 100% sure. This in a very fine smoke.

Just thought I would brag on her a little.

Congratulations to the wife; the best job license out there that offers so many job choices. My wife Millie has been in the nursing business in one form or another for the past 35 years. She has been a LVN here at UCD med Center here in Sacramento for the past 18 yrs so if you ever want to come check out the hospitals in this area, let us know.

My wife was in nursing school when we met and I can relate with the late nights of her (us) busting ass to get through school then the boards. Here in MA, RN’s are in high demand and can pick and choose their job at will.

The statistics for divorce are so high in this course of study. I have had many friends loose their marriages while completing this because of the time it takes away from your home life. So you guys are one great couple. Not only did you have her graduation to celebrate, but the fact that the marriage remained intact. God bless both of you and CONGRATULATIONS!!

My wife got her RN when we first met 8 years ago. Soon after she finished up a BSN, then decided to get her MSN. Two short years later we had our first kid, then the second, and now she hasn't worked since.

Congrats to your wife. Based on what I've observed with my wife the RN is most difficult and has the highest earning potential based on time spent in school.
