I kind of got into this wonderful adventure backwords, I am a relative newbie, but have been pounded by strong, complex gars. I enjoy them greatly but would like to sample some milder, more mellow smokes.

I've been poking around at some Canadela or double claro smokes in current auctions. I am looking for anything that can be described as mellow, or mild. I've heard certain Maduro's fit the bill as well as some Conn shade wrapped.

I'm open to any suggestions.

Most of the Dominican Montecristos and Macanudos are very light/mild. (at least to me). Not to mention the 5 Vegas.

These are some of the milder smokes I enjoy

the candelas, imho, are too mild. maybe some avo regular line. torano 1916 cammies would be excellent as well. perdomo la tradicion, cao gold are also good ones

i'm pretty new to this world to i like mild to medium smokes. The ones i've tried and like are cohibas macanudos excalibur 1066 and the royal sterling nobilis. I'm still looking for stuff to try myself, i just wanted to try and help out a fellow newbie.

I had a couple of 1876 reserves and thought that those were quite mild.
