Only 18 more days till pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training, and the great sport begins the 2005 baseball season! I love the lore and history of baseball. Just cannot wait till they start the season! April 3 Boston Red Sox vs the New York Yankees in season opener! Hope Schilling is ready to go, but not sure he will be by then!

Hey Charlie, 17 days till spring training opens up, but 18 days till the NASCAR Season begins with the Daytona 500!!! You know me and I'm a NASCAR/Basball nut, so I'm getting ready for racing, then baseball!!!

First race for me will be 2nd race of the year when they are in Fontana, CA, then I get Opening Day for my GIANTS April 5 (four days before CigarFest 05) which I'll be at, the two weeks later down to Phoenix for the Saturday night NASCAR race.

Not to mention my season tickets in San Francisco for my GIANTS!!! If any BOTL/SOTL are visiting CA during baseball season, let me know and we can go to a game together!

I can't wait....Even though the A's pitching staff looks a little shaky this year, I'm starting to get really excited. Last year I decided that three sports were a little too much in my life. I thought that either football or basketball were going to have to go. At the beginning of football season, I just really wasn't that ineterested because of baseball and I thought well....maybe this is the one. Then basketball started and I didn't have the interest to watch it either. Baseball is coming soon and I am itching to get out to the ballpark....go Oakland

Not coaching again this year. I didn't miss it last year, burned out after 10 years, but I think this year Im going to miss it.
