Kim Il Whatshisname is a child needing attention. He and his country have been out of the news for a while, upstaged by mostly successful elections in Iraq and other, more important news. So, Kim Il Whatshisname says "hey, lookey over here in Korea. We've got nukes! Did you hear me? I said we've got nukes now! Hello! Is anybody in America listening? Is this thing on? Hey, we've got nukes!" Suddenly Kim Il Whatshisname is front page news again, which is exactly what he wants. Ignore him and he will go away.

for almost 50 yrs North Korea has been shaking it's saber at the US... this is nothing compaired to what's going on in Iran... If NK ever decides to do something more then blow off... China and other Nations close to their little peninsula will slap the p!ss out of them... if it esculates more then that the US will probably send disaster relief to assist them in cleaning up after we give them a Hot Nuke... NK knows how to blow the horn and rattle the cage... Kim ll is off the wall but not as far off as he portrays to be...

Iran on the otherhand, they having Nukes would use them in a heartbeat against it's neighboring country's and especially Isreal... do you think that just because Saddam is not in power any longer in Iraq that Iran is not still bitter with their brothers in Iraq over the war between the two?? Iran has been sorta a shunned nation with the Arab brotherhood for decades...

as far as a Draft.. we wont need one Sonny... did you see my post about my Son trying to get into the Service? All services have a policy where so much is a requirement before someone can enlist... and even as much as last week... their policy is pretty strict on who gets in... If they were even a bit understaffed as portrayed by the media... you would think that by now they would be lax on some of their policy's...Not the case, and I for one am glad to see what I saw last week when talking with all of them... Even if Iran esculated into a full bruntal of US Policy... I do not think the draft would still even come into play?? enlistment extensions yes.. draft no... Do I see a full bruntal on Iran in the future?? at the route the talks are going... Yes possibly in a year or two... Unless Iran comes to some senses...

Uh-huh ... I'm sure that could be done ... with the same probable degree of success Jimmy Carter had negotiating with Iran in the late 70's
