Just a poll for the movie buffs out there. What is your favorite movie scene with a cigar in it? I know many will say Scarface as that is a classic, any other's? My new one is in Van Helsing when Dr. Jekyll is hanging from the rafters smoking a cigar with a ring gauge of atleast 80. That scene is great!!.....

MIB II where the dog is telling jokes to the worms

X-Men... Wolverine smokes in various parts...

Dr. Stranglove... George C Scott...

and of Course Slim Pikens(Maj. Kong) Riding the Bomb!!!! LMAO!!!!!

Scarface...the entire movie

Clint Eastwood in "Pale Rider" where he uses his cigar to light dynamite to blow up the deluge mining rigs.

Also, in "Fistful of Dollars". He sent aids to the local quickie store where they were filming to buy the cheapest cigars they could find and he cut them in half for this picture.

"Backwoods" smokes got their inspiration from Clint Eastwood movies. Wild 'N' Mild. I think they taste like $#!7.

Dumb as it sounds
HELLBOY
There were a few scenes cigar related

Crimson Tide
Denzel and Gene Hackman...

Smoking as the sun goes down right before they take their ship under. Fantastic.

Steve McQueen, as Henri 'Papillon' Charriere ...

... when the leper 'King' offers him a cigar he's been chewing on, and Papillion takes a big drag off it, then hands it back.

How did you know I was a 'dry' leper?

I didn't ...

The Gifters

When Bobo Justus (Pat Hingle) puts his cigar out on the back of Lilly Dillons (Anjelica Hustons) hand.

Two Mules for Sister Sara: the whole movie, I Don't think Eastwood ever took the cigar out of his mouth.

some great scenes. some I have seen, some I have not. How about in Daredevil, Kingpin was always smokin'...

John Wayne in McClintock!
The scene where he shoots his daughters boyfriend with the starter's gun, and it catches the guy on fire!

The Maltese Falcon.

The Fat Man has some pretty sweet smokes, except for Humprey Bogart throws one across the room when he has a little spat with the Fat Man.

What billreif said.

Not a great movie. But there was one cool moment where two guys who hate each other are lighting a cigar. One is doing it with a lighter and the other explains that you should do it with a match so the butaine doesn't alter the flavor of the cigar. The first guy says thanks and then they are like best buds.

Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum in "Independence Day" in the space ship when they think it's all over for them. Why not go out in style?

I'm with country on this one. The scene in Crimson Tide is great. 2 guys just enjoying a cigar and not ruining it with words.

And it's a fine movie also... soundtrack is incredible.
