Anyone else a fan of this stuff?

Nothing beats a big glass of tomato juice with a hint of clammy goodness.

Ever had a "Mary On The Rag?"

It's a bloody Mary made with Clamato, lol.

If you ever order this when you're with any woman that you're not already sleeping with, you never will.

I also mix it with beer.

A lot of folks would be surpised how good it is; I have converted a number of friends!

Actually, a Clamato "Bloody Mary" is called a "Bloody Caesar". Never had it, but I've mixed Clamato, Gin, Lime juice, and Old Bay and its the BEST bloody mary "type" drink I've ever had.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Say it ain't so JOE!

Shawn says NEVER... EVER pollute God's gift to man (beer) with anything but a good cigar.

No... don't put the cigar IN the beer... smoke it whilst you drink!

I used to make beer every week to satisfy my "beer-snob" tastes. I did this for four years; brewing everything from Belgian Whites to Imperial Stouts. Once I became a father, contraints on time & money forced me to settle on a "house beer", so I now have Yuengling Lager on tap in my house.

I am as much of a beer purist as the next guy, but when the only reasonably priced beers are somewhat bland "American Premium " styles, I don't see anything wrong with spicing it up a bit. Clamato does the trick nicely.

Maybe its a regional thing, but many people around here (rural Pittsburgh area) mix tomato or V8 juice with their beer. I guess it comes from years of drinking Iron City (blechhh!).

Oh well..........so much for trying to force my tastes on everyone else.

Andy

P.S. There is also "Beefamato". Not even I will try this.

It's an ingredient in my Bloody Mary recipe. Also a must when having a cold one at a friends 3.2 beer bar. 3.2 % beer is some nasty stuff!!

No,never, and do not care to try it mixed with anything other than in the garbage pail!
