Okay, this little description makes me nuts. When a cigar wrapper is described as "toothy", what are they trying to say?

You may get more replies if you put this on cigars and related.

Finally! Thanks guys. Another mystery solved.

It seems Cams wraps get called "toothy" more than maduros and the rest. Is that correct? Maduros are darker and rougher, but Cams are 'toothier'?

Maybe I'm putting too much thought into this whole thing.

To much thought into it 8Track...

natural wrappers I have found will tooth up faster then Maduros or Camaroon's or Rosada's.... but most generally these cigars have climatized and settled into their environment... although it takes longer for the other cigars... usually these bumps are noticed after about 6-8 months rest time...then and sometimes around that same time comes the Plume "white crystal dust" on the cigar... Maduro wrappers seem to just become more oily sheen then with actual plume... I may be wrong? but this is just what I've noticed???

Guess I haven't looked that closely. Gives me something else to ponder.

Thanks, Hog.

more BS about cigars. sort of like a hint of leather with a touch of coffee, and a finish somewhat like a cheese danish.
