Holy. If your dog ran away out there you'd see him escaping for days.

LOL...Steve, I don't know about that. My greyhound got away once and she can get far in a hurry at 45 mph.

Or just like South Dakota.....we were on a trip, heading from Sioux Falls, traveled for hours, west, straight, flat, never changing, I was so bored! Then, there was a sign!!! KOA campground.....and it said....are you ready? "Level campsites" I looked around and told my wife you'd have to dig a hole to sleep on a hill!! Jeez!!

great picture, ducati!!.....it's my new wallpaper for awhile. I can relate to snowing while the sun is shining. It was doing that here in Michigan today, too.

And yes it reminds me of the Dakota's also, I've been out there hunting a few times.....chipslave is that where you live??...

*** thread jack***

Ducati, you have a greyhound? So do I. We live 10 miles apart, I wonder if I've already met you. Where did you get your grey? Got mine from RGA here in GB.

*** threadjack off***

Is it really that flat evey where???? WOW I've been on the left coast my whole life except for the first two months. It snowed once where I lived in Monterey County in '62; even snow on the beaches at Fort Ord.

All the big buildings out here shook down. LOL I bet you can see forever in a 20 story on the plains. Been to DC twice and NY once and no place in between... was amazed to see brick buildings everywhere. The few we still have here in Calif are actually bolted together with long steel rods with plates and nuts on the outside..

8trackdisco,

I received my greyhound from RGA also. Got her 2 years ago in April. Maybe we have met at one of the greyhound gatherings at Petco. I live in the town of Lawrence, just west of Hwy 41. Can this be considered a threadjack if it is my post???

Actually, there are hills and what we call "the ledge" visible to the east of this photo. The ledge is actually part of the same rock formation that makes up the Niagra Falls. It is much more beautiful in the spring and summer.

Ducati,

What a small world. Got my large brindle boy (Disco) from RGA and go to many of the Meet & Greets. There is one this Saturday. I'll probably be there between 11:00-Noon. Stop in if you can.

A BOTL and a greyhound guy. You can't be all bad. 🙂

Wasn't sure if it qualified as a thread jack. It went from a Wisconsin Winter pic, to greyhounds, so I wasn't sure if it counted as a threadjack. Just being careful I guess.
