Use a lighter instead of matches next time ....!

Used to love these befor the change to full bodied

Litto still makes many great smokes though

c3s I used a xikar element (double torch).

I think it was the wind, but the flavor wasn't what I expected for a Litto smoke.

I had my first John Hays maddie this last weekend and it was just as good, at a much lower price point. Thus being underwhelmed.

^ The El Jocko's that I have are over a year old, so maybe they did change the blend.

Going to have to try the JHC smoke - have had others - all very good.

Recently split a box. Tight draw but dig the LFD profile, and the vitola. Hope some aging will open-up the draw. May dry-box next time. But not so tight I couldn't enjoy a brew…

The El Jocko Perfecto is from the early mild days of LFD. Good cigars but they were making mild cigars because that's the tobacco they had available. I've been smoking LFD since the early days and have to say I like the transformation of the brand.
The move to using his own tobacco allowed Litto to start making the cigars he wanted to.
Rep I talked to at the Cigar Fest here said today's LFD was what Litto had always envisioned for the brand.
