Gave my 2 weeks and I start my new job. Very exciting. I will be relocating 4.5 hours from where I am now and will now be able to afford a house. The opportunity is tremendous and the change of life is what the wife and I have discussed for years now. Awesome that it is finally a reality.

Hey bassdude... I can do this for 2 more and that makes 20. Quit at 38, work for the sheriff's department until i'm 55 and then i'm done and got 2 pensions. (3% x 17 yrs = 51% retirement plus the 50% i'll be getting from uncle sammy).

I am so damn excited right now I am shaking.

I went through the same thing 9 months ago and it has been really amazing. I'm working way too many hours now but I enjoy it and I have upward mobility. On my last day I was the happiest man on earth!! Then just to stick it to them I hired away some other people from the company... 🙂
