Wow, a million folks showed up to support Syria in Lebanon, and to protest the USA's demands that Syria leave.

Their biggest complaint? Resolution 1559 (the USA's brainchild) demands the disarming of the Lebanese resistance.

Hum, I wonder what would happen if George Bush called up the Governer of Montana (just an example) and demanded that they withdraw the National Guard from the state and that ALL citizens give up their right to bear arms and turn in their weapons?

Like it or not, it's the same situation......

Any thoughts on this?

I'm just looking for some discussion.

Yeah ... and today there was a counter protest. Some think real, some think that the counter protest was started by Hezbollah, which is based in Lebannon, but is supported by Syria. Interesting Topic for discussion ...

I find it interesting that when people elsewhere protest US actions and ploicies, it's righteous indignation. When they protest another countrys occupation and manipulation, it's simply a case of US propaganda.

What's up with that???
