Started by using DHL for delivery of my winnings. Out of approximately six deliveries, only one went right. They delivered packages to my neighbors.......twice. Couldn't find my house regularly.......and I never knew if I needed to be here in the morning or evening.

I switched to USPS priority because I know about when my mailman comes by.......plus he knows me better. Well, I find out today that CBID doesn't get their tracking numbers as fast through the USPS.......so I will probably never get a tracking number prior to the package being delivered. To boot, it takes longer. This sucks.

Without consistency, who knows how long these sticks sit out in the cold, or on somebody elses porch. Mind you, I'm fairly knew to this so I haven't ordered any real expensive GARS yet.......but I am wondering if I even should at this rate.

I use USPS and until recently I would get a tracking number the same day my order was shipped. I don't know what is going on with the tracking numbers lately, but now I am not getting any tracking number at all. I receive my USPS shipments faster than I was receiving DHL and I have not had one bad experience since I changed to USPS. My experience with DHL is about the same as yours has been. I am going to stick with USPS.

I knewnthe tracking system for USPS was worse. All it has ever told me is that packages were mailed, and picked up. In between, you are left to your own imagination.

I also did not get my shipment today, again. Prioroty mail, shipped on Friday, delivered the next Wednesday? I'll be rethinking getting more cigars by mail order.

Cigarbid orders that are being shipped with Priority Mail no longer receive an immediate tracking number. The assigning of the tracking number occurs after the package is turned over to the postal service and that information is then relayed back to us a day or so later.

Because of this new process, shipment confirmation emails and the tracking number availability has been affected. Making tracking numbers available again is being addressed by our web experts and they hope to have a resolution in the near future.

Be assured your package will ship on its normal schedule and the delivery time should not be impacted. The only delay encountered is the actual availability of the tracking number. Please contact Customer Service if a tracking number is needed and we can forward that number along as soon as we get it.

If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Regards

Roger

Mo,

Try asking for UPS. I use USPS Priority with great satisfaction, myself. I know CBid will give you your choice of the 3.

Try your luck with UPS.

UPS is no longer an option. US Priority Mail and DHL are the only options available for Cigarbid orders at this time.

How do you go about changing shipping vendors? I didn't see it in my personal preferences.

Thanks,

Donnie

As Slimboli once said ... "Life's too short to smoke cheap cigars" . . . And, as andytv said , "Yes........order expensive cigars." And, I will say ... Stick with USPS.
