The guys currently vying for the dem. nomination would not make way for her. I think she was hoping for a swell of support that never materialized. Lamar Alexander(rep) will be pressing his plaid shirt no doubt. Tennesseeans like their politicians folksy. That's why Al couldn't win here. Him and Tipper both are too Washington. Like her or not, she seems alot more sincere in her desire to do good than many TN politicos. Lotta lip service here in west TN.
