I'm still relatively new to these parts and I take all the advice and insight quite seriously. It's great to be mentored by veterans here and taught about cigars and the ways of C-Bid. Making a long story short, I've been pleased to get to know Erik (erkwgz) lately, complete a trade with him and be enlivened by his kindness and esprit de corps. It means a great deal and I thank him for mentoring and, of course, his cigars. Above and beyond, brother, above and beyond.

I just did my first trade as well. It was fun and rewarding for me. I felt like a good father/little kid the night before christmas. My girlfriend just sat back and looked at me like "what the hell are you doing" lol I was wrapping.. taping, packaging, looking in my humi for more. When i first started smoking stoges last year, i read an article in Aficionado about Alac Baldwin and how he almost enjoys giving smokes away more than smoking them. At the time (although he's rich) i thought he was crazy. I didnt understand the concept. NOW i do!!! Giving is a rare thing these days. Getting is fun... but to GIVE.. the reward is much greater!! To give a fine cigar that you have stored, nurtured, take out and look at on occasion just because, ........ well.. hard to explain. ITS JUST FUN!!
