So my band had our "final" gig (moving to Oregon) on St. Pat's at Margaritaville. We had a hell of a time even though the freekin' cops broke it up.

Apparently the house failed to recognize Capitola's weekday sound ordinance/curfew. Morons!

I want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Dragon for makin' it over to support us. Sorry you only got to see 5 or so tunes.

Luckily we were able to make up for it a bit with a private, post-show party on the deck. Cigars and booze included, of course.

That sucks Kendal! Now when Jimmy Buffet visits Margaritaville they don't break up his gigs, LOL! You need a little more pull I recon, heheheeee. (Or was it BeatDragon the cops were really looking for, LOL!)

Seriously...It was kewl to finally watch you play. Quite empressed with the playing and vocal skillz (yes, ladies and gents, he sang leads and backup!! Hard to believe I know, whats even harder to fathom is that he was good!!) "With a bullet in his.....BACK". And yeah, the post show herf was the most excellent.

To bad you guys are leaving just as we are getting gigs down here. Oh well, you can catch us when our West Coast Tour goes north...

It's looking like Margaritaville's going to give us a make-up gig. Since we put all those songs together for 1 last gig and didn't get to play a half dozen of the great ones, we are itchin'...

We're thinkin' maybe Fri. April 22nd. Then we'll pack up and move Sat. and Sun. Hope I get some sleep.

There is no REAL West Coast Tour...Kinda of a inside joke with FBP and me since my band has been working for 4 years and has yet to play anywhere...(sigh) But...since we FINALLY have a bassist, (tried to recruit Sketch but he has issues with our material) we are just about ready to play local (SF Bay Area) shows.

But in the future I sure HOPE there is a West Coast run for us.

Beat, you should give Lukin some idea of the practice scedule so that if he's ever down SJ way at an opportune time, he could just pull into your driveway and "see" you guys from the comfort of his car ... ... sorta like being at the drive-in movie
