I am looking for the biggest DWight Yoakam fan on the boards (if there is anyone at all)...I don't know how you will prove you are the biggest, but do your best....I've got something for ya

I'll keep this open a couple of days to allow time for everyone to see it...

I wouldn't say I'm a Biggest fan?? but I've got 3 or 4 CD's of his and enjoy listening to his music... he did some of Elvis's songs and did a damn fine job at that!!!

Thousand Miles From Nowhere, is one of my Fav's... some of my co-workers thought I was nuts when I started singing this song on the Flt. Line in Kuwait as we were loading up our jets for their missions LOL...

Pocket of a Clown is another good one...

Your The One is also a good one... it's pretty much like a remake of Rose Colored Glass's along that line...

I've got 1000's of music I listen to and the Mrs.. laughs at me because I can pick one out off the top of my head that fits into what the day has been LOL...

Dwights Music can fit into the day to day events... Hootie and the Blowfish also have this type music...

Hog

Little sister don't you kiss me once or twice,

tell me that it's nice,

and then run.

Yeah, yeah little sister,

don't you do what your big sister done.

I believe i have the majority of his cd's...

Best cd has to be "dwightyoakamacoustic.net"...

RasDas

Joe

I like dwight.

Wouldn't say i'm a huge fan tho

I guess I should let you all know that the thing I want to give the biggest fan is something that I want hung in their house/smoking room that Dwight gave me....I just have it sitting around and I want to send it to someone who would use/display it.

Don't forget the Streets of Bakersfield. I'm partial to that one as driving through Bakersfield from time to time, and had gone to college up the highway in Fresno. Me like Little Sister as well!

I like Dwight Yoakam very much, as an actor he can really get into slimeball parts with the best of them! His role in Sling Blade was great, and the part of the truck driver in Red Rock West with Nick Cage was very well done! He is a hoot as a guest on TV talk shows such as Jay Leno and Dennis Miller shows. Just like the guy in general.

Charlie

He also owns over 100 hats and over 150 pairs of cowboy boots.....quite a neat guy to say the least!

Charlie

Hog,

Your the One is my favorite song of his....followed by Streets of Bakersfield.

I always liked "Buenas Noches from a Lonely Room / She Wore Red Dreses"...something about Dwight's voice and Flaco Jimenez on the accordion...

RasDas

Joe

And i would definately hang up something from Dwight...oh yeah...drooling...

RasDas

Joe

Right now (considering he is the only one that said he would hang something of Dwights up) Rasdas is the leader and stands to win the prize. If no one else wants to fight for it, I will send it to Joe.

Rasdas you bum!!!

I've been listening to Dwight all day, but I am only a casual fan. I don't think I'd go to a concert if he were the only act.

Enjoy your "item".

When are we going to know what it is????

when he gets it 🙂

Joe...send me your addy

joely8 at hotmail dot com

Wooooohoooohoooo...

I have actually gone to a couple of concerts where he is the only act...he puts on a great show...

and i still think "dwightyoakamacoustic.net" is...all his greatest hits acoustic...great stuff...

Lukin..e-mail sent...

Andy...will take a pic or give a detailed description once i get it...

RasDas

Joe

Is his best album...got caught up in the excitement and did not finish up the sentence...

RasDas

Joe

Congrats Joe!!!!

I still gotta make a frame for my Gretchen Wilson poster and get it hung up LOL

Hog

Sent it off earlier today...I hope you like it. I originally had ten. I sold seven (they were for charity) kept one and bought the other two for my a friend (who never got it and whose item is heading your way) and for my father-in-law. Mine is hanging up in the living room and my father-in-law has one in the smoking room. Have fun and enjoy....it was sitting around and I didn't want it to go to waste. It seems I found a good home for it 🙂
