Once upon a time I really liked Planters in a can. Now I'm a salted-in-the-shell kinda guy and any brand will do. Funny how tastes change over time.

I'm from the South. There's only one way in the South and that's boiled!

I am from the South as well, and I think boiled peanuts are disgusting, but that is all a matter of taste, as they are very popular all over the south! I like mine, fresh roasted and salted in the shell, hot pepper sounds interesting, gotta try that on them!

I'm with Spadesman.

BOILED Peanuts are one of my absolute favorites. The only problem is you cannot buy raw peanuts in my area. I have brought them up from FL, but they grow mold very quickly.

I have to settle for cans shipped to me from my family. They are good, but the nuts are very small.

2nd choice - Cajun Style Roasted.
