Andy- ever fish the Sebastian Inlet near Vero Beach? You wouldnt believe the action when the Blues are in.. Pound for pound the hardest fighting fish in my book. Also catch some very large trout just north of there in the river, east side.

Cayman- Try fishing for tuna. They'll kick your butt and when it finally comes in, you'll be disappointed by how small of a fish it is. AJ's are pretty tough as well.

First of all, as an Ohio resident, you should be ashamed!
Steelers? (Shakes head).
That thing will be torpedoed within a month
by some loyal Browns fan!

Mike- ya I'm with you on the tuna.. never caught one but I've seen/read that they have unbelievable power. Have you ever caught a small, say 8lb blue? wow. Live in Mi and fish mainly here but love saltwater when I get the chance.

Sweet boat Andy- take it that's yours?

^not my boat.........it belongs to a guy who USED to be my neighbor who now lives in Satellite Beach, FL. I have an open invite to fish whenever I get down there.

Pic was snapped at the launch in Cocoa Beach and we fished the Banana River around the Pineda Causeway.

I am not an Ohio resident.........and I'm not sure why ANYONE would think that I lived in that awful state.

Cayman.....

yes.......I HAVE fished the Inlet. I was actually there today; but not for fishing. We took my daughter to the tide pool.

Great fishing there......especially if you have a boat and can avoid the crowds.

Hoyodude= That's my fishing grounds, don't forget snook, redfish, tarpon, sharks, blues, spanish mackeral, and lots of other fish. Took my twins out on a shark charter last October, and caught 13 sharks in our group, including great hammerhead, and scalloped hammerhead, and about 5 other kinds, was a great time.

^oh, yeah. that sound USED to be the "fishingest place on earth". still a great place to fish but I miss what the fishing was like in the '60's. no comparison now.

I grew up fishing the Indian River/Banana River when it was fished commercially.......so it sort of sucked. Also we were kids who didn't know too much about technique and didn't have the $$ for expensive tackle.

Better now....IMHO.......no more commercial guys and also we have nicer boats, better baits, and shinier reels.

Very nice. Similar to the one I got, though mine has bow rails and is a bit roomier, I think.

I thought so too.. not much room in that boat... 😟
