Beautiful. My neighbors had one growing on their fence until little worms attacked it.

We planted two that are evergreen with a lighter pink flower. We shall see how they do.

Does that grow from a bulb...seed...how?

Can you find them at local stores to buy and plant...or is it super rare?

Rick

How big does the bush get? Is a flower or a flowering bush? Curious as it is beutiful and do hummingbirds go for it?

about 7 or 8 years ago i traded 3 seedling for some plumeria cuttings with some lady in texas.

this plant and i get along so well it just grows and grows. it wants direct sun and once it sends a tap root down to water, it needs no attention at all.

i have given some people a cutting and they just keep it in a pot woth a stake for the plant to climb.

i have some cuttings being rooted and i will send a cutting to whoever would like one.

i haven't seen any hummers near it but butterflies lay eggs on it and the caterpillars don't do any damage.

it should cover that trellis 8' by 4' in a few months.

i think it would grow indoors if it get's sunlight. i don't know how it would work out in the cold.

send me a snailer. i'll send you 2 cuttings with roots one for inside and one for outside with a little info aout how to grow it, and then you can let me know.

according to this site it should.

rick,

i just found out from my wife that we have a passion flower vine planted in the front yard in a pot in front of a trellis. she said the flowers should actually have white petals instead of the purple ones yours has. if we get any decent blooms, i'll post a pic for you. i've never seen one of these things before. i'm kinda anxious to see what it looks like now.
