That Taurus is not even in the same class as S&W or Colt... especially their semi-autos...

I got to fire a six-inch Colt Python with a Mag-na-ported barrel once. It had about as much recoil as a .22!

Colt...I have a Colt Python 357 and I have shot many SW. My 2 cents worth is Colt

Exactly what 00camper said, word for word!

For auto - Colt Gold Cup. Accept no substitutes!

I agree, for a .45 semi-auto that's an awesome gun... but any Colt MODEL 1911 is a fine place to start... I say start because this weapon probably has more modifications/upgrades than any other semi-auto hand gun ever made.

By the way, I dont own one, but I've shot a few & like the feel...

My best semi-auto is my Berretta 92FS... that's a 9mm...

I say Colt....

I am still a little pissed at S&W for going in for that Clinton act.

If we're talking wheel guns, i'll say Colt.

If we're talking semi-auto, I like Sig Sauer.

A lot of folks may disagree with me, but I actually love shooting the military issue Beretta 92F. Fits my hand perfectly and I can hit a gnats ass from 25 yds and in.

Those Sigs are really nice. The .357 Sig is one I like. It's a .40 caliber shell tapered down to a .357 slug. Sigs are not cheap, but the best quality.

I also think the 92FS is a great gun. Mine has been super reliable.
