finally won a 5-pack of bauza pyramids at a hefty price. i didn't think they lived up to the hype. nice medium bodied smoke with hints of cinnamon and leather but didn't hold a candle to the hemingways. any comments?

Meanie like. Especially in the larger ring gauge. A milder smoke than yer Hemmingway.

I've won a 5-pack of Bauza pyramids around the first of the year and enjoyed the first one so much, the other four are still in the humidor. I later bid on and won a couple of Bauza robusto 5-packs. Its flavor is very close to the pyramid. But I noticed a little difference in the way it smoked and prefer the pyramid. I'm not looking for a box of either yet.

I too won a five pack of the pyramids; smoked one and let the others sit for about 6 months. Made a real difference in taste but not as full-bodied as I prefer as they are more medium bodied; good flavor.
