Just wanted to update those that were interested. Last appointment I had to do another 3hr gestational diabetes test - one of the tests was high, but had to fail 2 to actual have gestational diabetes, but what they like to do is if someone fails one they like for them to go to a gestational diabetes class and take the precautions because a lot of times when you fail one - if given another test at 34-36 weeks you would fail 2 - so they would rather have you safe than sorry and get on a special diet and monitor your blood. Which to me is no biggy because I want Sterling to be nice and healthy! Which he is - his heartrate was 140 which is great. I'm measuring 32 centimeters which the midwife said was a bit big - and if I'm measuring big again at my 34 wk appt with my dr then they'll want to get an ultrasound to see just how big he really is. Other than that the aches and pains that I'm having now are just your normal run of the mill pregnancy things and nothing to worry about. So I go back in 3 weeks.

I also went shopping at Walmart after my appointment and got a lot more things for Sterling and a couple things for me and some tshirts I have to send to Clive in his next care package. Other than that and taking lots of pics to send to Clive nothing much has been going on. Can't wait for the weather to get warmer! Thanks for reading hugsss

Sweet! You keep Senor Silver nice and healthy now, young lady. And if'n you ain't sendin' 2 care packages a month you're slackin'.

Sorry... but every time I hear that name it makes me think of Silver jewelry.

Thanks for the update Liz. Sounds like everything is going pretty well. Always better to be cautious with diabetes.

My daughter had her ultrasound but they couldn't tell the sex of the baby yet. Now they think she is only 18 weeks not 21.

Ooooh! And have Clive e-mail me when he is supposed to get home. I'm sure he can figger out my sipr account. He may need a 'new daddy' care package.

lol @ slacking pffftttt - you try packing and sorting and getting a nursery ready and going to drs appt and going to classes among other things! He's lucky he's getting any care packages LOL

and he's due back sometime in September - not sure when but it was end of March when he left.

Thanks for the update, Liz.

Good to hear that you & Sterling are doing well.

He'll be yelling & breaking things before too long. LOL

Hey and if you have a daughter later, promise me that you'll name her Goldie (couldn't resist).

LMAO @ Bloody! I'm reserving whether I want another baby until after labor and delivery! It hasn't been that bad of an experience so far, but I know the worst is yet to come, so after Sterling gets here is when we'll decide if we'll try for a girl 🙂

He's hoping my package that I sent out priority mail 3 weeks or so ago will come on friday - guess they have an incoming mail drop then. He says it usually takes a month for stuff to get to him, but I'm sure he'll drop you an email when he gets it 🙂 I haven't said what you are sending - and he hasn't asked - he just asked me to give you the ship addy. I try to keep things a surprise for him as much as I can 🙂
