JonR - I suspect if rick went on vacation for awhile you'd lose your mind.

What keeps you busy when you're not taunting 'the maven'?

Wow,

Someone here is a psycho...I mean psychic.

Actually I had tea yesterday with Richie Havens. It was enlightening.

Tonight is dinner with the Vice Pres of a major winery that you definately have heard of.

It's good to be wealthy and part of the elite......

We are honored that you take time out from your rich and communistic friends to post on C-Bid...NOT.

Richie Havens, didn't he record the song " My Dingling"?

JonR, its part of the Liberal Guilt. It always strikes me as funny when guys like John Kerry, Bruce Springsteen and any members of the Kennedy family speak of helping the poor, working man, and they rarely have done a day of work in their life.

They live the highlife then they wake up feeling guilty and become a do-gooder for the day.

It is where the term "Limosine Liberal" comes from.

JonR, you are to the right of me politically, but I do admire your tireless effort to counter balance some of the lefties in here.

I delighted that people like you build my riches for me. Thanks for being a Wal-Mart shopper, and thanks for buying Chinese.......

We badly need Walmart, 'droomi. All those illegals that you care about need jobs once they get here.

How was the caviar?

No caviar tonight.....I opted for Singapore Slings at the Long Bar in the Raffles Hotel while seated at the table next to Bette Midler of all folks.

Two nights ago was 3000 miles away and drinking Jim Beam with LGates5 while listening to Green Day and discussing the future of the UAV in armed conflict.

And to think, I grew up the son of an illegal immigrant...........

Again, please continue to shop at Wal-mart. I'm hoping to increase my retirement fund. One day I'll return to the USA for good. I'm thinking of buying my hometown, and turning it into a playground for my friends.

Will you make it a smoke free zone, or allow us lowly BOTL's to smoke in your town?

In my hometown the second hand smoke will do more than give you cancer.....it will most likely make you feel a bit more mellow too.

Boy 'droomi, what in the hell did you do that someone made you sit next to Bette Midler?!

I think I'd prefer the Michael Faye style caning.

Good to see you taking advantage of the frequent flier miles. I wonder how much currency was spent on the latest leg of your tour. Nothing like living it up in high class hotels, discussing the "little people" that you profess to care for so much.

You could feed a lot of illegals with what you are flushing down the can, hob nobbing with Bette Midler. LOVED her in The Golden Girls. (Or was it Maude)?

8Track,

Don't even try it.......that's just plain stupid. I earn what I spend, plain and simple. No regrets, and definately no guilt my friend.

Yo adroomi:

You claim you do "secret missions" for our government and you "earn" your money, hmmmm. We all know the government does not pay large salaries. How do you manage to do all you say you do on a government paycheck and also pay alimony to your wife and child support for your two children.

Ps: Do you think Scott Peterson told the women he picked up in bars that he was a manure salesman?

Afterthought: Isn't Google a wonderful learning tool.

'droomi,

As a point of clarification, to what comment of mine were you referring to when you said

'Don't even try it.......that's just plain stupid'?

I realize I'm sticking my head into your cannon on this, but I have to ask.

On the issue of Liberal Guilt- You REALLY don't feel any? The complexity of your position is vexing.

One one hand, you expound the virtues of the poor, joe lunchbox average American (the stereotype of what a Democrat is) but you fly all over the globe, living in fancy hotels and meeting with captains of industry (a decidedly Republican stereotype).

Fully realizing that stereotypes are not completely accurate, but at the end of the day, how do you reconcile these two conflicting principles?
