I just got off the phone (((HOLD))) with a County Clerks office here... I requested a form (Small Claims Court) I asked before being put on hold if there was somewhere on the web, I could attain this form and if so could they point me in that direction? (each County has their own type forms with letterheads) before I could say if not could you fax one or two of these over to fill out myself.. could you hold please.. 4 minutes later she picks the phone back up and says.. can you call back in a little while.. there isn't anyone in this office who can assist you with your request right now??? WTF... what is your job lady? Janitor????? if so don't answer the damn phone... anyone else ever deal with phone calling a State Agency or county building for requesting something this simple?? what was your outcome??

You got the switchboard operator. If you called a plumber with a question on bleeding your water lines and the receptionist answered the phone, would you really want her to give you instructions?

Obviously, the person with whom you needed to get information wasn't in the office.
