i do hope they are healthy and make lots of money and i hope upper management has some really good golden parachute plans so they can float gently to earth and buy expensive homes in florida, where the equity in your home is unlimited if you declare bankruptcy.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7804770/

"What makes Florida’s homestead protection such a powerful asset protection tool is its unlimited monetary protection. A Florida resident can invest millions of dollars in large estate homes and farms and protect the full value of these luxury residences under the protection of Florida’s homestead provisions. Under a Florida Supreme Court ruling, a person can transfer unprotected, non-exempt assets to his homestead at any time by either buying a new home or reducing the principal balance of an existing mortgage and protect this money under the homestead umbrella, even if the asset transfer was clearly designed to hide money from creditor claims."

Get rest, Rick.

They couldn't care less about you or anyone else- including "their" country.

Bonuses, perks, and the (perceived) bottom line is all that matters to most of these people.

I can't believe that I used to defend them, and felt irritated when they were portrayed as evil in the movies. LOL!!!

Gotta get back to the grind.

Somebody has to pay for their corporate loopholes/welfare.

You're more conservative than you think.

Conservatism is not the crap that Bush peddles.

Hmmmm, crop circles... aliens or hoaxes?

Maybe a little of both.

I worry about corporations, too. For the same reasons you do.

Crop circles are an alien hoax....

As for corporations, it would be nice to have them ignore the "bottom line" and offer competitively priced goods made by highly paid American Union workers. But that's not reality.

Who along the food chain should get the proverbial axe? If a manager ignores the bottom line, and doesn't look to outsource when it's good for the profitability (read: financial health) of the company, is that manager acting on behalf of the company? Would you still think so if you had stock in that company?

If he gets fired by the board, who pays his mortgage?

It's easy to label "corporations" as evil, since it rarely involves acusations at the personal level. But these managers are somebodies husband/father/neighbor and they have a job to do.

Kennith Lay isn't human, so he doesn't count...

The bigger picture is WHY it's cheaper to get products from overseas to begin with. Is it the slave labor that China and India offer? Or is it the falsly high wages demaned domestically? Or is it governmental involvement and regulations? Or the "free trade" vs "fair trade" deficiencies?

Or maybe it's simply a handful of evil men that want to drive blue collar America into poverty.

That's the easiest thing to blame so let's go with that.

They're playing tricks with us.

They purposely make them look like complicated geo-symetrical coding, when in fact they are simply random decoys intended to keep our "experts" busy trying to figure out their meaning.

All the while, they are able to build up their base on the dark side of our moon in order to....

I've said too much.

What's your home address anyway?
