I was thinkin' bout you guys last night and how long it's been since I haunted the board (over a year)...went to a cigar & wine bar called Hemingway's in Old Town San Diego last night. Even though I rarely partake, boy did that place smell good and there were a ton of prospects for a single in-law of mine. She's going there next week! Anyway, if you're in San Diego check it out. Zack is one of the hosts and a great guy. I told him to check out cigarbid.com. Hemingway's also has wine tastings a few times a month which I'll have to attend. Gotta love it! Miss you guys...

Hey JJ! Man, the 18th is a big wedding in our family. Dammit! I really would love to meet everyone there...where there's a will, there's a way! Let me know...been out riding lately? My son is saving up for a quad and wants to go to Pismo Beach in June. Hasn't saved up enough yet! I don't know about many other places around here, but know that Hemingways is cool and there's a ton of casual restaurants (mainly Mexican) right there in walking distance from it. Hemingways is actually in a courtyard with 2 or 3 restaurants directyly next door. There is also of course a lot of places on 5th Ave. and I think one nice cigar bar in Del Mar (don't know the name). Check out sdinsider.com they may have more info...SLIM! Ah-ha! You're brilliant...you win the brownie button for the day! Just because I don't partake, doesn't mean I can't enjoy! Hey Eleltea , I originally posted as Esplendidoschick because as Slimboli put it - those were the only cigars (Cohiba) that I ever had or would smoke...not "Escondido" LOL! But you were close! I think you mean San Ysidro on the Mexico border? I live in Encinitas about 40 miles north of that inbetween Del Mar, La Costa and Rancho Santa Fe. Escondido is pretty far inland, about 15 miles from me...I'm about 2 1/2 miles from the beach.
