Don't know if these lunch snack cakes are a regional treat to my area...however I would like to get an opinion from those of you who know what they are.

I had a Little Debbie Fudge Round for lunch and am now firmly convinced that the diameter of the round itself has decreased significantly since my youth. Perhaps a budgetary move on Ms. Debbie's part attempting to keep the retail price low while maintaining a consistent profit level. Still...I feel somehow slighted.

Opinions?????

Good lord, these things are so sugary that the last time I ate one it gave me a headache, and I generaly like sweets. It was a couple of years ago, but I don't recall thinking that they were smaller than I remembered them being.

I go to the local gas/shpo and pick them up for $0.25 each and they are the large commercial sized.. the box of 8 (that used to be 10-12) are way to small in size and yes the diameter has decressed considerably in size throughout the years... I think they're getting them down to the size of a quarter and charging a buck two fifty more in prices...

shop wise.. big things come in small packages and small things come in large packages ;0)

What Hog said. Buy the honey bun package and they are tiny for 35 cents i can get the large one on my way to work. Used to get my coffee there then found killer beans and others.

Yes, the sizes of all their products are continually shrinking so that their profits expand...My grandfather used to drive trucks for LD out of their facilities in Arkansas and whenever he stopped through Houston, he'd give us a couple of the boxes that were broken in the truck 😎

The junk treat I like is the SnowBalls or whatever they call those, coconut covered marshmallow and chocolate thingies that look like a couple of mounds in Pink or White! Don't eat them very often, but if I want a sugar rush, those are fun!

Little Debbie snacks are made locally here in PA. We also have TastyKakes which are incredible. I'd glady send out a few boxes to anyone interested.

TastyKakes are great. If you have never had them, you have been deprived.

I once ate both of the snowballs in the package at once. Not a good idea---way too much sugar.

HEY HEY! Trying to eat better here!

Don't even talk about freezing Twinkies or LD Fudge Rounds (which are definitely smaller, either that or my stomach is bigger), or Nutty Bars. Or Hostess Snowballs (they make green ones sometimes) or the most evil of all, the Hostess Orange Cupcakes.

Just don't mention em. y'hear?

Although I ate many of the aforementioned treats as a kid, I think my favorites were "Scooter Pies". Yummy!! I'm almost positive that they started to shrink in size of the years. Of course, as you get older, I guess everything begins to look a bit smaller 🙂

My dad used to be a distributor and I was raised on Little Debbie's. I didn't realize how bad I was eating until I moved away from home and lost almost sixty pounds.

The decline in size may be in direct proportion to all of the griping about getting kids to eat healthier.

I asked the wife about this one. She assured me that her favorite treat has in no way diminished in size. She did say that it's recovery time is off some. What did she mean by that?? Women! LOL Bill

I've been eating apples and oranges, with the occaisional peach for my 'sugar rush' for years. They haven't changed in size at all..........I'm thin too.
